Oxford to Cambridge - High Speed Rail Line Analysis

The brief was to introduce a new direct rail link that would enable rapid transport between Cambridge and Oxford (in 35 minutes), with a single stop at Bletchley. The aim was to show how this would improve connectivity and access to the populations of Oxford, Cambridge and Bletchley. We did this by carrying out a 60-minute public transport catchment from all 3 locations before and after adding in the new 35 minute rail link between Cambridge and Oxford. We then demonstrated the increase in population within a 60-minute catchment to all three locations.
